Kinesio Tape
Kinesio Tape has been around for decades, but really made it's big splash in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Kerri Walsh Jennings wore some colored kinesio tape on her shoulder. The tape also made a big impact during the 2012 Summer Olympics. It has now become much more common in sporting events throughout the world.
Kinesio tape can be used to help support muscles and joints and improve lymph drainage without restricting motion. It will often last 3-5 days (depending on the specific situation) and can be worn in water (swimming, bathing, etc).
Though you can buy Kinesio tape in your local athletic stores, or online, it is recommended that you have someone that has been trained on how to apply Kinesio tape help you with it so that you can get the best benefit from use of the tape.
